Takachiho Gorge is an awe-inspiring experience you won't want to miss. Choose to row through the gorge, taking in the thundering Minainotaki Waterfall, or walk along the edge for a bird's-eye view of the Gokase River below. The southern end of the gorge offers souvenir shops and local restaurants, providing a well-rounded experience for all visitors.
The easiest way around Takachiho Gorge is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other. Though, some sights are located a bit further ahead, where a car or bus might be necessary.
